Boomershoot Picture of the Day No. 2

Here’s a closeup of Gene Econ at Boomershoot 2002. Hanging from his neck is, I believe, a Kestrel anemometer. Such gadgets are extremely useful — I’ll be trying out a wristwatch-style version at Boomershoot 2009 — although Gene takes care to teach his Precision Shooting Clinic participants how to gauge wind the old-fashioned way — by observing grass, trees, etc.
