More Boomershoot Prep

My bench, assembled upside down for test-fitting of the legs. Spare leg sections this time, so I don’t end up having to kneel like last year because the slope was so great it was all I could do to level it.

Squeaky’s bench:

Instead of 2″ steel pipe like mine, she’s got mostly 1″ pipe. It’ll still hold several hundred pounds and can be adjusted for any slope — plenty of additional leg segments in varied lengths.

FYI, the cost of the 1″ steel for Squeaky’s bench was a little bit more this year than I paid for the equivalent 2″ steel in 2005.

Both benches’ leg segments are all well-lubed with WD-40 (and a can of Kroil’s coming along for the ride, just in case).
