Fine brace of horse pistols. This seems to be the coming thing, but how do you manage them in the field for short-range cleanup? That gun carriage reminds me of something that ought to be on the original USS Constitution, but it doesn’t look too portable, or do you have a special place on your saddle horn for it?

BTW, am I overgunned for Cleanup with an M14?

I don’t use these for cleanup. It’s much more fun to have a semi-auto for that. I’ll be using my Springfield HK clone in .308 or my SOCOM, and yes, your M14 should do just fine.

The Bower Shooting Rests have little handles on the front (not seen in the pic) so you can tote them from place to place. They’re really quite portable. They do require a relatively flat surface, though.
