I’d be surprised if the AR isn’t a boltie of some sort. With semi-autos pretty much a no-no, folks often take an AR, leave off the gas system, and end up with a straight-pull bolt action. I’ve even seen (pictures of) one where the grip was a lever to work the action. Looked really clever. (Note there’s no gas block visible. Could be under the handguards, but I doubt it)
