I’m not a very prolific photog and these are all that I took that I am finding suitable to post. I’m sure that David will have more in the not too distant future.

I’ll also (hopefully) have video up in just a little bit. All pics are click to enlarge.

This is Linoge’s SOCOM II M1A.

Much nicer to shoot that I thought a superleggera M1A would be. Once you get used to the optic, it can be very addicting.

I’d call it neutered because of all the crap CA residents have to do to make their guns “legal”, including limiting them to 10rnd mags, but the thing hits, so I’ll refrain.

Kevin Baker’s table

His well refinished Garand and the Remington he’ll be bringing to Boomershoot. Missing: His IBM M1 Carbine from the DCM. It was the first M1 Carbine I’d shot in years and now I wish that I still owned one. They’re just too damn much fun.

I’m not sure any single person shot every single gun on these two tables. After all, we only had 5 hours of available range time.

Getting ready to smack the plate at 957yd around a bit. He finally knocked it over about 15 minutes before we left (Correction: It was the 616yd plate Joe whacked a bit hard).

And last, but certainly not least, US Citizen’s Hyundai Class Barrett M82A1

As you can see, I had to get low to hit the barrel next to the 957yd plate.

Prior to this I helped spot US onto the barrel. Joe brought his own supply of .50cal ammo and hit the barrel 7 out of 10 times. There was something inside the barrel for weight that lit up a huge spark on his second to last hit (one of the cool things you get to see when you spot).

Personally, while I had a 50% hit ratio on the metal plate with Joe’s rifle, I missed with all three shots kindly given to me by US.

But there is always next time.
