Keep Talkin, Fat Man

I’m so gonna love to hear his excuse for this

I want to make it abundantly clear: if there’s anyone who believes that these youngsters want to fight, as the Pentagon and some generals have said, you can just forget about it. No young, bright individual wants to fight just because of a bonus and just because of educational benefits. And most all of them come from communities of very, very high unemployment. If a young fella has an option of having a decent career or joining the army to fight in Iraq, you can bet your life that he would not be in Iraq.

(Emphasis Allah’s)

He was on the Fox News Network, so you know he can’t pull a Kerry and blame it on a badly delivered joke. I mean, they’re such humorless conservatives over there that no one would try comedy on one of their channels.

And no, this isn’t institutionalized disdain for the military. No. Never. Of course not.

Doesn’t speak highly of his district, does it? Hmmmm…Iraq or Chuckies district…statistically I think that I would be safer in Iraq, and the air is probably better, and certainly the politicians are no less corrupt.
