My small collection of Sakos , including my first rifle, also got the Mike Palazzo treatment. I really like the lines of these older rifles, including the Monte Carlo comb. They’re just pretty.
A right-hand Sako 579, in .243 Winchester. As a southpaw, the right-hand bolt works well for me from the bench for targets and varmints.
The new, and near-invisible detachable muzzle brake on the .243.
A right-hand Sako 461, in .222 Remington, also with new detachable muzzle brake.
My first rifle, a left-hand Sako 591 in .308 Winchester. I bought this rifle for Boomershoot 2005.
New detachable muzzle brake on the .308.

Picked up a heavy-barreled pre-Sako in .222rimmed years ago. Came complete with a Weaver 2.5X/5X scope. And I mean 2.5X OR 5X. Has a little cam on the side of the scope that you rotate to change the magnification power. Nice wood and the typical European style stock.
