Boomershoot 2013: Felt A Bit Out of Sync This Year
Greetings from Michigan (actually, greetings from Estes Park, Colorado area as I write this). Well, Boomershoot 2013 is in the bag and it was a bit different this year as the usual suspects were not all in attendance. The planet … Continue reading

The kind of week that time in the parlor with the wife, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in our ears, a glass of Highland Park 18-year-old in one hand, Roosevelt’s African Game Trails in the other, and clouds from a Prensado Maduro … Continue reading

Impressionist High Intensity
From Boomershoot 2012. This is what happens when you leave the camera on the macro setting. Oops. For what it’s worth, this is almost exactly the way the world looks to me without glasses or contact lenses. Shelley Rae and … Continue reading

Boomershoot 2012 . . .It’s All Good
David brought his Millennium Falcon shooting rest for his pistols: Phil brought another couch to reinforce his motto: “Just because one is in the middle of nowhere in a wheatfield in Idaho is no reason … Continue reading

A different sort of “Boomershoot Prep”
Read. I tend to think of Boomershoot as “prep” to extend my endurance so that I may further limit tyrants. I only call it a vacation so that the folks I know IRL don’t get twitchy. Yet another successful “vacation”.
