   We can do that now. Any State Judge who finds a defendant guilty of a crime, and also finds that that defendant is an alien (legal or not), may petition the Federal court to have an immigration hearing, at which evidence will be produced. If that evidence shows that the crime was committed by the foreigner, the Government has no choice but to deport.

   Of late, we have introduced some “mitigating circumstances” issues into this clear directive to the Feds to enforce conditions of immigration, but most still get deported.

   OUR problem is that once deported, these immigrants can easily return, and do.

   The Swiss have good border control, we don’t.
